Optional branded agent website + CRM, customizable pages and automation tools, available with either plan.
Commission percentages refer to eligible supplier commissions, not the full price of a vacation. Supplier payments and agency commission disbursements are subject to applicable terms and payment schedules. Setup fees and membership are separate. Any discount or promotion must be applied as offered during registration.
How commission works
Sell an experience. Earn on eligible bookings.
Travel suppliers may pay a commission when an eligible booking is completed. Your membership determines what share of that commission you keep.
- Example: if the supplier pays an $850 commission, Launch's 80% split would be $680.
- On the same example, Pro's 90% split would be $765.
- Commissions are generally paid after the client travels and the agency receives the funds.

Do I need travel industry experience?
No. Shipside works with new and experienced agents. New agents receive onboarding and guidance to learn the fundamentals.
Is this multi-level marketing?
No. Our travel agency membership is focused on selling travel, not recruiting downlines.
What's the difference between Launch and Pro?
Both plans receive the same core support and resources. Launch is $39/month with an 80/20 commission split; Pro is $59/month with a 90/10 split. Both have a $199 one-time setup fee.
Do I need to book only cruises?
We specialize in cruise-focused training and support, while members can learn about other travel products through available supplier relationships and resources.
When will I get my credentials?
We begin the setup process after registration. Credentials are often processed quickly, but may take up to five days, depending on requirements.
When do I receive commission?
Supplier commissions are typically received by the agency after the client has traveled. Shipside pays agent commissions after departure and after the agency receives the relevant supplier funds, according to applicable terms.
Can I add a website later?
Yes. The optional agent website and CRM package is $20/month and can be added to either membership.
